Sex & Nudity

At the start of the film a woman is standing before a male who touches the beads on her dress. It is near her breast and is intimidating. They then rip off the top of her dress only her back is shown. They cut her back with a knife. She does not cry out. Kind of chilling.

A man and woman go skinny dipping. She stands up and we briefly see her butt and the side of her bare breast, before she gets back into the water.

There is a scene where saloon girls come upstairs to offer themselves to men. It's non graphic and sex is not discussed.

A man and woman kiss and fall back hugging and kissing each other in bed, though it's obvious what happens next.

Kissing scenes are short.

Violence & Gore

Violence: 7/10

The film revolves around a man tracking his parents' murderers.

The mothers back being cut was quite graphic and chilling.

McQueen's character describes what his parents looked like dead a few times through the movie. Slightly graphic descriptio.

In the end of the movie, a man shoots another man repeatedly in the arms and legs (to torture him). The river he is in runs red with blood and we see his bloody arms and legs while he screams for death

Several gun fights, fist fights and knife fights.

One character takes on three cowboys at once in a fist fight, they throw punches and kick at each other

There is a knife fight where one man is stabbed and killed and the other is stabbed and wounded (no blood)

A raid on a money wagon, several men are killed but no blood

There is a whipping scene in a prison camp. The victim's shirt is torn off and then whipped several times. We see his bloody back and he yells with every blow.

A man is punched in the face--the blow knocks him down

A man uses his handcuffs to choke another man--he then takes his gun

A man shoots another man in a swamp several times even when he begs for mercy. We see some blood

I don't remember any profanity. Certainly no F's, S's or anything like that.

Alcohol, Drugs and Smoking: 3/10

A few character smoke and drink in a bar

Intense Scenes: 3/10

The ending of the movie can be intense for younger viewers.
