Unaired Original Pilot for "The Time Tunnel". Dr. Tony Newman is forced to use the experimental Time Tunnel by a senator who threatens to kill their funding. he winds up in 1912 on the Titanic. This version has an additional 5 minutes and a different ending. It is included on the Volume One DVD.

Doug and Tony escape death aboard the Titanic only to be hurled ten years into their future aboard a rocket bound for the moon. Problems arise which the astronauts blame on their unwilling stowaways, but the real cause is a saboteur aboard the flight - and the same man, ten years earlier, is in the TicToc complex with a confederate! Doug and Tony must discover the identity of the traitor and stop his plans or else die in space.

Doug and Tony escape the moon only to materialize in an old mine shaft in 1910, the year that Halley's Comet passed very close to earth. Many in town, including prominent scientist Professor Ainsley, believe the comet will smash into the Earth and end all life! Doug and Tony know this isn't true so their goal is to rescue miners trapped below the earth and all but abandoned in the town's panic.

"The Time Tunnel" (1966): Season 1: Episode 5 -- The two time travelers are mistaken for British spies when they arrive outside New Orleans during the final pivotal battle of the War of 1812.

In 1815 one of the final battles of the War of 1812 was fought near New Orleans, Lousiana. Doug and Tony materialize behind British lines and soon find themselves in the custody of Colonel Southall, a man history records as "The Butcher" because of a disastrous mistake attacking the strongest side of Andrew "Old Hickory" Jackson's fortifications. Southall believes the chrononauts can supply tactical information and he'll stop at nothing to get it. Meanwhile, Southall's descendant, a general in the modern British Army, visits the TicToc complex to explain what his ancestor is likely to do. But General Southall, unknown to anyone else, is dying - and so it may well be his actions that are the most unpredictable.

"The Time Tunnel" (1966): Season 1: Episode 6 -- Tony and Doug try to convince a scientist on the island of Krakatoa that the volcano he has been studying is about to unleash the most powerful eruption the world has ever known.

In 1863 a little known South Pacific island called Krakatoa exploded with enough force to be heard nearly 3000 miles away. Doug and Tony materialize days before this explosion and meet a professor there to investigate the volcano and his lovely daughter - and a small group of superstitious natives. Professor Holland is sure the volcano's explosion is decades in the future and cannot be persuaded otherwise - but he may be deceiving everyone, even himself. Then Doug and Tony discover an error in the date calculations that suggests they're far closer to the fateful day than they first thought.

"The Time Tunnel" (1966): Season 1: Episode 7 -- Tony and Doug's knowledge of ancient Greek and Trojan history helps keep them alive after they arrive in 1200 B.C. and get caught up in the war between Ulysses and Paris.

Far into the past, Doug and Tony find themselves a part of the siege of Troy that took place 1200 BCE. The pair offer unique insights and soon the Greeks regard them as gods. Then a traitor captures Doug inside Troy. Now Tony must find a way into the city to free his fellow time traveler. A certain horse left as a gift by the departing Greeks may just be the answer.

Doug and Tony hurtle nearly 3000 years futureward to the Montana of 1876, days before the Battle of the Little Bighorn that will cost General George Armstrong Custer and his men their lives. Doug tries to persuade Custer away from his ruinous course while Tony attempts to convince the Lakota he landed among that he is an honorable man and that there is nothing to be gained from battling Custer.

Their next jaunt finds the travelers just thirty-two years in the future, but on the hellishly unpleasant penal colony called Devil's Island. There, Doug and Tony must deal with a sinister commandant, the evil Lescaux, and desperate prisoners who unite behind a plan to help the wrongly convicted Alfred Dreyfus - a plan that will certainly get them all killed if the commandant and his men learn of it!

Meanwhile in the future, a ten years older Biraki offers his services to Project TicToc - but is he on the level?

Doug and Tony have their hands full, since the President's chief spy, Allan Pinkerton, believes *they* are the threat!

"The Time Tunnel" (1966): Season 1: Episode 23 -- Tony and Doug are taken prisoners by pirates on the Barbary Coast in 1805 just as the American ships, which wiped out the pirates, launch their attack.
