Suggested MPAA rating: R for disturbing sexual content involving rape, terror and brief strong, bloody violence

A woman is raped by different rapists over multiple nights. None of the scenes include nudity or screaming; for each, we only see many quick-cut close-up shots accompanied by the sound of a ticking clock. In total, this occurs four times in the movie, one of which includes skin, though it is not obvious which part of the human body is being shown.

The landlord tries to rape the leading character.

A woman wakes with only a blanket on her on the floor.

A woman hears her sister moaning at night (in two different scenes) as she is having sex in the next room.

Most of the woman's imagined rapists hold her down forcefully. In the last rape sequence, she knocks down a lamp while being raped.

A woman slits her landlord's throat and slashes him to death with a razor.

An animal's heart is in a woman's purse.

A woman bludgeons her would-be boyfriend to death with a candlestick.

A woman cuts her customer's finger while working on them (beauty parlor) and blood begins to pour out as the woman screams in fear. It is revealed to be only a little cut, however - most of it was part of the woman's imagination.

"Bitch" is used twice.

People are seen drinking at a pub.

A character smokes cigarettes.

The whole movie is of an intense and frightening nature. The rape scenes are all brief and without nudity, but also realistic and disturbing. As the leading character goes insane, her hallucinations gradually intensify. There are a few jump scenes as well.

Recommended for 16-17 and up.
