Anachronisms

While in a wagon being chased by armed stagecoach, two of the wheels in the wagon are shot off. Moe says "How do you like this, a time like this and a flat tire."

The movie is set in the 1870's and the pneumatic tire was not invented until 1887.

Factual errors

When the Stooges and Cabot are riding off in a wagon and the 'bad guys' come up on them in the armed stagecoach. Several shots from the armed stage hit the wagon though the stage and wagon they are approaching head on. The Gatling gun is firing out the side of the armed stage and could not possibly hit the wagon, even when pointed as far forward as possible.
