A young couple move from Grand Rapids to LA for a job that the husband has taken, and find themselves being dragged into a crowd of swingers that is tearing them apart. Their neighbors, Joanie & Tanya, work at a local club & so of course, just being new to town, Cliff & Mindy want to run down there & get tanked. Tanya is a rather interesting character, being that she's a rather ruthless bar owner & does her own "bouncing", not to mention that she makes house calls as a dominatrix, too, apparently. Anyway, Cliff is highly successful and like all highly successful people he wants to make his life and Mindy's even more unbearable by consuming vast quantities of booze & jumping the neighbor's bones. And poor Mindy, she's homesick for Grand Rapids & her folks, and she's boozing it up too. Strangely enough, it's Tanya that seems to put the brakes on this whole brewing tragedy, and provides a wake-up call for them. This is a minor film in Ted V. Mikel's filmography, and not really all that good or exciting, but still it's worth seeing once, at least, if you're a Mikel's fan. 6 out of 10.
