It concerns Maria del Pilar, Iran Eory, a young girl who is loved by two suitors, one of them, Jose Moreno, makes believe she's dishonest in a way hard to clear out and the another one , Vicente Parra, sacrifices himself for his lover. As her good sweetheart searches solution to save the honor of his girlfriend destroyed by a betrayed set-up.

And a very good support cast such as Miguel Ligero as the sympathetic priest , Roberto Rey as the honorable uncle Eusebio , Alfredo Landa who provides the comical relief , Elena Maria Tejeiro, Julia Caba Alba as the pharmaceutic, Manuel Arbo, Luis Orduña and Mary Paz Pondal as the jealous innkeeper.
