Quite good drama taking place at a laundry. The boss Eva Dahlgren is too aloof and this angers the women who work there. When they find out that she's attracted to another woman who works there they are threatened and want Eva to quit. The film shows the attitude towards gays in Sweden at the time. It's a document of it's time showing the womens attitude towards men. Sad and interesting, worth checking out. Good performances with many familiar faces from Swedish films. Eva Dahlbeck and Isa Quensel have been in some of Bergman's films. The scenes with two of the women dancing the Twist is fun!
