Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! (1965) Poster

Trivia

Lead actress Tura Satana legally owned her likeness and image. So, whenever Russ Meyer wanted to change the artwork or re-release the project, he had to get her permission and sometimes pay her all over again.
Russ Meyer named the movie like this because he claims that a movie has everything when it contains speed (faster), sex (pussycat) and violence (kill, kill).
Although the film was profitable, it was not a big hit when originally released. It has gone on to become a cult film and has been shown at film festivals and art house cinemas.

Quentin Tarantino has been writing and directing a reboot of the film.
For the catfight scene between Rosie and Billie Russ Meyer told them to not rehearse to add to the realism. He gave them directions not to hit each other to ensure no one was hurt. Because the fight is real you can see genuine hairpulling and each woman throwing sand in each other's face.
