Gypsy, a daytime talk show hosted by former strip tease artist Gypsy Rose Lee, originating in San Francisco, started off with a lot of controversy. The first episode was telecast Monday 3 May 1965. Gypsy known for her open manner was upset with the censors for bleeping out her dialogue and fought constantly eventually going to syndication and being relegated to terrible time slot (7:30 am) which finally ended this program.
