Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

A robot breaks into Santa's workshop and picks up an elf. No harm done to the elf.

There are two fight scenes, one involving punching and grabbing and the other involving kicking. They are both brief and non-violent.

Santa and two children are threatened to die in an air lock, but they crawl through a vent and escape.

There is some slapping and hitting, for comical reasons.

Profanity

Santa smokes a pipe.

The Martians may look scary to young children.

A polar bear attempts to attack two children, but it fails because it can't reach them. The bear is very fake and clearly a man in a suit. Remember, this movie was made in the 1960's.

There is also a giant robot which may be scary to young children.
