Continuity

When Peter Finch first offers Anne Bancroft a can of beer, it's Carlsberg (product placement?), but, at the end of the film, when she is re-imagining the scene, it has become a can of Whitbread.

Crew or equipment visible

After Jake returns from his trip with presents for the children, he and Jo are sitting on a couch and she moves closer to him. A shadow of a crew member's head can be seen quickly moving on and off Jo's skirt.

Revealing mistakes

The long tracking shot near end of film (in which camera begins on Jo smoking in bed, then winds through closeups of mementos in her living room) was shot backward; at beginning of shot smoke is going into her cigarette, not out of it.
