"Olga's Girls" is one of those grindhouse flicks that will be loathed by high-class film scholars but loved by psychotronic buffs. This has absolutely no redeeming social value but will be a goldmine to fans of exploitation cinema. This film must've been dated the day it came out. At this time, exploitation filmmakers did away with the social message due to the court's easing on obscenity laws. However, "Olga's Girls" contains a half-baked social message on the dangers of drug trafficking and prostitution. In many ways it feels like a more explicit version of Dwain Esper. The message about communism is uproarious (drugs are the main sources of Russia and China's income apparently), the drug portraits inaccurate (girls getting hooked on both pot and marijuana), and the warning about the trafficking of flesh incredibly hypocritical (what were the filmmakers doing?). Exploitation buffs wouldn't have it any other way.
Most of the girls are chunky and don't have good bodies, so don't expect any erotic value to this. There's no sound, so the film consists of dubbed over narration and some brief lines that don't sync, ala "The Beast of Yucca Flats". Unlike "Yucca Flats", this method makes it all the more entertaining. The narration is constantly hilarious and disorienting, with sample-worthy lines that'd make Ed Wood proud. There's plenty of S&M for all you sadists out there and all of this seems to have been filmed in one suburban home with Marquis DeSade as the basement proprietor. "Olga's Girls" delivers the sleazy goods for fans of this trash. (5/10)
