Goofs

Miscellaneous

The courtroom's main doors are decorated with the coat-of-arms of the king of Norway.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

We see two shots which apparently show Inspector Craddock rushing to Halford's Palace Theatre. The car in the first (a Wolseley 6/99) bears the registration YGA 370. In the following shot it appears that the car has changed to a Wolseley 6/90, registration UUV 133. However it is plausible that these are intended to be two different cars, both being sent to investigate the murder, even though no other officers than Craddock are seen in the subsequent scenes.

Revealing mistakes

The scissored copy of the Milchester Gazette found by Miss Marple is undated; as this is a mock-up especially for the film it would seem that the date was - intentionally or otherwise - overlooked.
When the two cats exit Miss Marple's room, a bird-like toy on a string can be seen moving in the background and up to the ceiling, attracting the cats so they'll follow down the hall.
