This is the last animated short film featuring Tweety until Carrotblanca (1995) and Museum Scream (2003).
The last Merrie Melodies cartoon produced by the original Warner Bros. Cartoons studio before it closed down in 1963, as well as the last Merrie Melodies short to have the target titles and the last to use Merrily We Roll Along at the beginning and end of the short[4]
This was the only Sylvester and Tweety cartoon to be directed by Gerry Chiniquy, a member of the Friz Freleng's team.
The last appearance of Sylvester during the classic era. However, he appeared in the last four shorts from 1964 to 1965 in the DFE era until Father of the Bird (1997) came out 32 years later after the short was released. He made a cameo appearance in A Taste of Catnip (1966).
