If you've ever had to take your grandfather on spring break with you, then you can surely related to the upcoming Dirty Grandpa. Lionsgate, via Buzzfeed, has released the first trailer and poster for this outrageous comedy, starring Zac Efron as a young man who gets talked into a road trip pilgrimage with his grandfather, played by Robert De Niro. As you can see in the video below, and as you can likely surmise from the title alone, Robert De Niro's Dick Kelly is not your average grandfather.

Jason Kelly (Zac Efron) is one week away from marrying his boss' uber-controlling daughter (Julianne Hough), putting him on the fast track for a partnership at the law firm. However, when the straight-laced Jason is tricked into driving his foul-mouthed grandfather, Dick (Robert De Niro), to Daytona for spring break, his pending nuptials are suddenly in jeopardy. Kate Hudson Joins 'Kung Fu Panda 3' Replacing Rebel Wilson

6 September 2015 1:26 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

DreamWorks Animation's Kung Fu Panda 3 is slated for release on January 29, 2016, but the animated sequel has made a late casting change. The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Kate Hudson is replacing Rebel Wilson as Mei Mei, a ribbon dancer who becomes romantically obsessed with Po (Jack Black). It doesn't appear that this casting change will affect the release date at this time.

Sources claim that the Kung Fu Panda 3 production was recently extended, which created a conflict for Rebel Wilson, forcing her to drop out. The scenes involving Mei Mei will also be re-animated, to reflect Kate Hudson's new take on the character. We got our first look at Mei Mei in the new photos that surfaced in June, but it isn't known what this new version of the character will look like.

Kung Fu Panda 3 release date moved up by DreamWorks

15 April 2015 2:13 PM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - Movie News news »

Kung Fu Panda 3's cinema release has been moved up by two months.

DreamWorks Animation had previously scheduled the animated sequel for March 18, 2016, but is shifting it to January 29, 2016.

The studio had initially intended on a Christmas 2015 release for Kung Fu Panda 3, but the project was quickly moved to next year to avoid Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

This third instalment of the Kung Fu Panda series sees the loveable Po (Jack Black) facing the threat of a dangerous spirit known as The Collector (Mads Mikkelsen).

Its voice cast also includes Hollywood superstars Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Bryan Cranston and Rebel Wilson.

Kung Fu Panda 3's new release date will see it facing off directly with Chloë Grace Moretz's science fiction film The 5th Wave and Disney's true-life sea epic The Finest Hours.

This deal isn't really surprising, considering how successful the partnership has been working so far.  Star Wars: The Force Awakens is also set to hit IMAX later this year, so it only makes sense that Disney would want to keep the good times rolling for future films.  The recently announced deal reveals that Captain America: Civil War, Star Wars: Rogue One, and Episode VIII (among many others) will be brought to the IMAX format.  Check the press release for more details:

IMAX To Screen Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar And More Disney Films

8 April 2015 12:51 PM, PDT | Obsessed with Film | See recent Obsessed with Film news »

Lucasfilm

Though some films are conspicuously absent from the press release, IMAX have announced a partnership with Disney that will see most of their big releases on the large format screens over the next few years.

Specifically named in the announcement are Marvel’s Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and Thor: Ragnarok.

As far as Star Wars goes, we already knew about Episode VII but now Rogue One is also on the list.

Pixar’s Finding Dory and Toy Story 4 are named, though Toy Story 4 will only be a limited release, it says. This is maybe because its June 16th 2017 release date is sandwiched between The Fantastic Four 2 on June 9th and some as-yet untitled DC movie on June 23rd.

There’s no sign of Walt Disney Animation’s own films Zootopia or Moana, but th studio’s live action movies The Finest Hours, »
