A well-off couple who work in the theatre plan to temporarily swap their country manor for the city home of an elderly couple. When they arrive in city, there is no sign of the address they were given. At the same time, their home is being looted of its expensive antiques and furniture. However, a friend stumbles onto the thieves and chases them out. When the couple arrives home, they find themselves subjected to odd occurrences, like poisoned pets and livestock.
