Mickey is a cute family-oriented sitcom whereby good-natured Mickey and his family run a resort hotel. Although earnestly acted, the scripts were too generic; family crises, interfering relatives, etc. What might have saved this comedy was more tension, like the other hotel sitcoms, such as "The Bill Dana Show."
