Season 1, Episode 0: Marooned
16 October 1964The pilot episode that tells the tale of a tiny ship which set off on a three-hour tour but got caught in a storm and crashed on an island. The pilot was filmed in November 1963, and not aired until almost 30 years later.
26 September 1964The seven castaways awaken aboard the S.S. Minnow, which is beached and damaged on an uncharted tropical island. The Skipper and Gilligan set about making a raft to float them back to civilization, but encounter some unexpected difficulties in the process.
3 October 1964The seven castaways decide that they're unwilling to all share the same dwelling, so they break up into teams to construct four separate huts. A violent storm is on the horizon, so time is of the essence, and with Gilligan trying to help, there's plenty of setbacks.
10 October 1964A witch doctor on the island wreaks havoc on the castaways.
17 October 1964The Skipper is reliving a dream where his troop was forced to turn their radio into a communicator. He can't remember anything when he awakes and the castaways precisely need to do just this, unfortunately the Skipper can't fall asleep.
24 October 1964Wrongway Feldman is located living on the island. After repeatedly being unable to get Wrongway Feldman to take them civilization they attempt to trick him in to doing so with Gilligan.
31 October 1964The Skipper and Mr. Howell compete for leadership on the island by being named "President." When the castaways cast their votes, the result is surprising.
7 November 1964After an injured duck lands on the island the castaways then debate whether it should be used as food, or a messenger.
21 November 1964Gilligan's attempt to turn sap into maple syrup yields a substance that is stronger than glue. The castaways patch up the Minnow and prepare to go back out to sea.
28 November 1964Gilligan's gold strike complicates their attempts to leave the island in an inflatable raft.
5 December 1964The Skipper is convinced he is doomed after he accidentally disturbs the resting place of a vengeful Tiki god.
12 December 1964The castaways hold an off Broadway play starring Ginger Grant, however, Mr Howell wants to use his wife as the lead.
19 December 1964During Christmas, the Castaways get homesick and remember the first day they were shipwrecked.
26 December 1964Mr. Howell gets in over his head after loosing a series of escalating bets against Gilligan.
2 January 1965The castaways desperately try to find a new water source as they have completely exhausted their current water supply.
9 January 1965A Japanese solder arrives on the island, thinks it's still WWII, and holds the castaways prisoner on their own island.
16 January 1965Gilligan stumbles upon a treasure chest while digging a barbecue pit for Mr. Howell.
23 January 1965Two robbers are hiding out on the island with the authorities close on their trail.
30 January 1965The military launches a experimental warhead at the island. When the new weapon fails to detonate Gilligan has to climb inside and disarm it.
6 February 1965The castaways try to teach a jungle boy found on the island to speak enough English so that he can take a hot-air balloon to Hawaii to rescue them.
13 February 1965A gender rift causes the castaways to camp in two different groups. The women in one and the men in the other. After a few bad dreams, and some bad food, the two camps realize how much the need each other.
20 February 1965A tsunami causes a surfer to land on the island, and the castaways try to find a way to send him back with their tale.
27 February 1965The Howells cannot locate a diamond broach, and everyone is a suspect in its disappearance. Gilligan soon discovers an aggressive gorilla in the forest, and soon this great ape disrupts everything by kidnapping Mrs. Howell.
6 March 1965Gilligan over hears the castaways talking about finding a way to boost his confidence. Gilligan plays along and ends up confronting a real head hunter, whom he is convinced is a phony.
13 March 1965Wrongway returns to the island with his plane, and the islanders are hopeful he told others about them being stranded. Wrongway did not tell others; as a matter of fact, he decides to live on the island forever.
20 March 1965Mrs Howell is tired of island life without social events. When she sees Gilligan and MaryAnn talking to each other, she decides they are a perfect match. Mr Howell does not want to play matchmaker but is forced to help with the scheme.
27 March 1965The castaways form a band for entertainment and diversion. But Gilligan's drumbeats are mistaken by tribes on other islands as a declaration of war.
3 April 1965Gilligan and Skippy hear voices behind the bushes, talking like gangsters who plan to shoot anyone they see. They tell the others and make plans to find the gangsters boat so they can escape the island. It turns out to be a parrot talking.
10 April 1965Skipper and Mr Howell set up a turtle race. If the Skipper loses, Gillian must be Mrs Howells servant. Skipper finds a way to make sure his turtle wins. Mr Howell finds out and makes a counter move. Gillian ends up causing problems.
17 April 1965Gilligan finds the "eye of the idol" a magic stone that grants the bearer three wishes.
24 April 1965When the Skipper hears the navy will hold maneuvers in the waters nearby, he and Gillian make plans to catch their attention. Gillian knocks the Skipper out and he wakes up with amnesia. The Professor hypnotizes him to get his memory back.
1 May 1965Skipper finds out that Gilligan has been keeping a diary, and then everyone knows about it. Gilligan says it is about him saving the day when a Japanese soldier took them hostage. Everyone tells the story their way, where they are the hero.
8 May 1965Skipper and Gilligan plan on joining the Navy whenever they are rescued from the island. However, Skipper has to lose weight and Gilligan must gain weight.
Season 1, Episode 33: It's Magic
15 May 1965The castaways find a magician's chest of magic tricks. They each decide to learn one of the tricks and put on a show. While rehearsing, Gilligan overhears others talking negatively about him, so he decides to run away.
22 May 1965A famous painter lands on the island and says he is going to live there as he is finished with civilization. Since he has a short-wave radio, the castaways try to flatter him into letting them use the radio.
5 June 1965Gillian saves Mrs Howell's life, and Mr Howell decides to adopt Gillian since he is as brave as a son.
12 June 1965Gilligan climbs a tree to collect coconut, and then falls to the ground. He nose takes the worst of the fall as it swells up to twice the size. The Professor decides he should teach first aid to everyone as he treats Gilligan.
16 September 1965Natives from a nearby island visit the castaways in search of a husband for one of the women. The daughter decides on Gilligan. Her native boyfriend shows up and wants to fight a duel for the woman.
23 September 1965Ginger, MaryAnn, and Mrs Howell decide to hold a beauty contest to see which of them is the prettiest. Gilligan has to cast the deciding vote.
30 September 1965A Latin American dictator is exiled to the island.
7 October 1965A satellite bound for Mars lands on the island. The castaways hope to use it to provide visual evidence to the world that they are still alive.
14 October 1965Gilligan wins the lottery and is invited to the Howell's country club. After feeling lonely he issues IOUs to the others so they may also attend. He quickly misplaces the wining ticket and they all get evicted.
28 October 1965The professor's bamboo poles in the lagoon indicate that the island is sinking. In an attempt to spare the feelings of the women the men start a futile project in the middle of the night building huts on higher ground.
4 November 1965Finding a box containing movie material and raw film, the Castaways under the direction of Mr. Howell shoot a movie about their shipwreck, in hopes that somebody finds the film and rescues them.
11 November 1965While listening to the radio, Gilligan and the Skipper hear that Mr Howell is believed to be bankrupted.
18 November 1965A Soviet space capsule carrying two Russian Cosmonauts goes off course and lands in the lagoon.
25 November 1965An accidental blow to the head causes Gilligan's tooth fillings to act as a radio receiver.
2 December 1965The Skipper attempts to train Gilligan to take charge if anything were to happen to him. Promptly something does happen to him, he goes missing.
9 December 1965The rock band "The Mosquitoes" arrive on the island for some much-needed R&R. But the castaways try to make their lives miserable so they'll want to leave--and take them with them.
16 December 1965Gilligan's thinks he is doomed after being bitten by a yellow and green bug. Soon, the other castaways are also bitten by the same bug.
Season 2, Episode 14: Mine Hero
23 December 1965Gilligan accidentally pulls ashore a WWII mine, and later tries to drag it out to sea.
30 December 1965Erika Tiffany Smith shows up and wants to buy the island, but falls in love with the Professor.
Season 2, Episode 16: Not Guilty
6 January 1966The castaways discover that they are all wanted for questioning in a murder that took place right before they left Hawaii.
13 January 1966A telephone cable washes up on the island after a bad storm. The castaways try to use it to call home for help.
20 January 1966When the Professor, Skipper, and Gilligan all try to romance Mary Ann to console her after her boyfriend proposes to another girl, Mary Ann misunderstands and thinks she has caught the fatal "roomus igloomus" from eating poison mushrooms.
27 January 1966Gilligan finds seeds on the island that allows him to read the thoughts of others. After everybody starts to consume these seeds a rift occurs among the castaways.
3 February 1966Party time! But the castaways must choose which party -- the Howells' gala or a celebration for the skipper.
10 February 1966The castaways try to find a way to get a robot who has landed on the island to provide them with their rescue.
17 February 1966Without warning, someone starts throwing hand grenades at the castaways. They start to plan how to avoid the attacks and find out who is doing it, or should they surrender?
Season 2, Episode 23: Ship Ahoax
24 February 1966To cheer up the other castaways, Ginger (aided by the Professor) puts on a fortune-telling act. They have the whole group convinced she has supernatural powers, including Ginger herself, when her prediction comes true.
3 March 1966A circus lion is found running amok on the island.
10 March 1966Gilligan discovers a hot water spring on the island, and the castaways are thrilled by the prospect of having hot running water. The downside, as the Professor knows, is that this discovery proves the existence of an active volcano on the island.
17 March 1966A man, who has assumed Mr Howell's identity, washes ashore on the island after falling overboard from a yacht in the south pacific.
24 March 1966A man dressed as a ghost tries to scare the castaways off the island.
31 March 1966Everybody finds themselves allergic to Gilligan.
7 April 1966A mad scientist invites the castaways to his island, where he hopes to conduct strange experiments on them.
14 April 1966The Professor tells his fellow castaways that if they don't find a way to grow more oranges and other fruits on the island, they risk dying from vitamin deficiencies.
21 April 1966A radio bulletin states that the minister who married the Howell's was a fraud.
28 April 1966A meteorite hits the island, and its cosmic rays accelerate the life process in living things, causing Gilligan to dream about the castaways celebrating fifty years on the island.
Season 3, Episode 1: Up at Bat
12 September 1966Gilligan is bitten in the neck by a bat and fears he will transform into a vampire as a result. Gilligan's troubled sleep is haunted by a dream that he is indeed a vampire living in a European castle in 1895 where unsuspecting travelers and a famous detective and his doctor assistant appear at his doorstep. Will they be invited to stay for -or as- dinner?
19 September 1966A KGB agent that is identical to Gilligan questions the castaways about the nature of their shipwreck.
26 September 1966While fishing in the lagoon Gilligan catches a crate filled with vegetable seeds. These seeds grow plants at a miraculous rate, but like everything good that happens on the island, there's a catch.
3 October 1966A down on his luck producer, Harold Hecuba, appears on the island and refuses to make contact with his offshore boat until he has something to show on Broadway. After the castaways perform a musical version of Hamlet he slips away.
Season 3, Episode 5: Voodoo
10 October 1966Gillian loses his rabbits foot in a cave, and finds buried clay items from earlier villagers. The cave also holds a witch doctor who decides to place curses on the castaways and put them in a voodoo spell.
17 October 1966Mr. Howell names the other castaways as beneficiaries in his will, then fears they may be trying to kill him for his money.
24 October 1966An eccentric butterfly collector, Lord Beasley Waterford, is found meandering on the island in search of a rare butterfly.
31 October 1966After Gilligan's hair falls out he retreats to a cave on the other side of the island.
7 November 1966A mad scientist hiding out on the island plants a ring that Gilligan finds. Soon after, he uses this ring to make the bearer follow his whims.
14 November 1966After Gilligan hits his head he sees everything upside down.
21 November 1966While fishing, the Skipper and Gilligan pull a locked U.S. Government attache case out of the lagoon.
28 November 1966The women are each taken in turn and held for ransom.
5 December 1966After the castaways disappear one by one, Gilligan dreams he's Dr. Gilligan and Mr. Hyde.
12 December 1966Plain and homely Eva Grubb escapes the scorn and rejection of civilization in a motor boat and lands on Gilligan's island, where Ginger and Mary Ann are confident a Hollywood makeover can bring out Eva's hidden beauty and restore her self-confidence.
26 December 1966Newly appointed Deputy Sheriff Gilligan gets everyone fumed up when he takes his new position way too seriously.
2 January 1967A dishonest game show contestant arrives on the island.
9 January 1967The Maritime Board accuses the Skipper of being solely responsible for the loss of the SS Minnow, so the castaways recreate the shipwreck to discover the truth.
Season 3, Episode 18: The Hunter
16 January 1967Gilligan is the new target of an eccentric big-game hunter. If he can survive 24 hours without being killed, he is the winner.
23 January 1967Mrs. Howell is receiving love letters from somebody on the island.
30 January 1967An actor prepares for a role by making the castaways think he is really Tongo, an ape-man.
6 February 1967After being struck by lightning Gilligan becomes magnetic.
Season 3, Episode 22: Splashdown
20 February 1967The castaways have three chances to attract the attention of a space agency.
27 February 1967The castaways find a headhunter tribe's totem pole on the island. The head on the top of it bears an uncanny resemblance to Gilligan--which comes in handy when the headhunters return to the island.
6 March 1967After Mary Ann watches Ginger perform on the island she hits her head giving her amnesia thus believing that she is Ginger Grant.
13 March 1967Gilligan ends up dreaming that the islanders are all cave dwellers when he finds prehistoric stone tablets.
Season 3, Episode 26: Slave Girl
20 March 1967After Gilligan rescues a native from drowning in the lagoon she becomes indebted to him.
27 March 1967U.S. Air Force Jetpack X-JP was lost at sea and found by Gilligan.
Season 3, Episode 28: The Pigeon
3 April 1967The castaways attach a message to a homing pigeon that has flown off course and landed on the island.
10 April 1967A lost crate containing a top-secret clay that can be converted to explosives washes up on the island. Not knowing what it is, they make several items with it--including Gilligan's new tooth fillings.
17 April 1967Natives arrive on the island looking for a white goddess to sacrifice to their volcano god.
