Storyline

Ralph Wolf and Sam Sheepdog are buddies living together in a modest rural house and chumming on their way to their jobs; Sam is the guard of a flock of sheep, and Ralph is the raiding wolf stopped and pounded by Sam. Ralph surrounds Sam with every weapon imaginable, planing to do away with him once and for all. But the whistle blows, Ralph can't open fire, and the two pals walk off into the sunset. User Reviews

The ending is great (particularly the last line!)

This is the last of the series and I'm tempted to say they went out with a bang (well, almost, at any rate) but they did close it out perfectly, in my view. The concept behind this still holds up very well and the ending to this one is just wonderful! The closing line is perfect! This runs on Cartoon Network fairly often and is well worth seeing. An excellent short! Most recommended.
