Anachronisms 

After Dr. Bedlow has been changed back to a human, he is talking with Dr. Craven when he notices a small framed color photograph of Lenore on a table. This film takes place long before photography was even invented.

Continuity 

When Jack Nicholson's character climbs out of the window to go to Dr. Craven's room, he goes around a corner then a part of the ledge breaks away. Estelle screams as he's stumbling even though she cannot see around the corner.

When Dr. Scarabus shakes hands with Dr. Craven, Dr. Bedlo stands behind the latter, but seen from behind he appears a little way on the left side of Dr. Craven.

At about 29:18 into the movie, Dr. Craven has just knocked out Grimes with a green laser beam from his index finger. Grimes is on his back on the ground with his hands on his head and his shirt up over his chest. The next second, from the next camera angle, Dr. Craven gets up and Grimes' hands are at his sides and his shirt is rearranged back to just above his knees.

Crew or equipment visible 

A thin string can be seen tied to the raven's leg when he first flies across the room, and when he is perched on the chair.
