While seeing this movie, one can only dream about seeing it as a boulevard stage production, as it was intended. Okay, those popular stage plays often goes for crudeness more than humour, but this one is very clever and has Molière-esque standarts, up to the servant's character very much in France's Great Man (The other Great Man - the first one in my opinion - being Shakespeare) tradition.
