Storyline

Wandering strongman Maxxus comes upon two warring tribes, the Sun worshipers and the Moon worshipers. He saves the leader of the Sun tribe from a sea monster, then later on when the Moon tribe attacks and kidnaps the Sun tribe's women, they call upon Maxxus for help.

Vegging Out on a Rainy Afternoon With Maciste & a Rum and Coke

...what could be better? Following the international success of Hercules in the late 50s hundreds of sword and sandal pics were churned out until the market was glutted and the genre nearly became extinct. The Son of Hercules series was originally a TV show that was cobbled together into a half dozen film and distributed by Avco Embassy with a catchy unifying theme song. It went as follows: "The Mighty Sons of Hercules Once Thundered through the years. These men of steel could never feel the curse of a coward's fears." It's really quite funny and once it gets in your head it STAYS in your head. You will be able to recite it FOREVER. Maciste must save a tribe of sun worshippers from the sinister moon worshippers and a tribe of cannibals to restore order to their dangerous ice age world. His battle with a three headed Hydra is a high point in this wonderfully cheesy adventure starring Reg Lewis.
