First of all, remember. It is only a movie, and only an Elvis movie. Forget that all the Elvis scenes are rear projection. And never mind that The King's hair is perfectly combed during the cliff diving scenes. It's just that kinda movie. Elvis is South Of The Border with Ursala Andress, who just made a movie with Bond. James Bond. Dr. No specifically. Elvis had an accident with his family trapeze act and has to get over fear of heights. He's Elvis, so of course you know things will go well for him. And there is a laydee bull fighter, and some songs kinda have this King Of Rock Meets Ricky Ricardo thingie happening, and Alejandro Ray is in it. I likes me some Alejandro Ray, so that's a good time for me.
Not Classic Elvis movie, to the extent that's possible, but good fun
