Judy's guests are Ray Bolger and Jane Powell. Bolger performs a production number with musical instruments, and joins Garland to sing "We're Off To See the Wizard" when they reminisce about "The Wizard Of Oz." The two join Powell and dancers for a production number cut from the film, "The Jitterbug." Jerry Van Dyke lip syncs to the male vocals in a tribute to Judy's musical movie co-stars.
Judy and her small daughter and son get ready for Christmas in their house, where they welcome a few guests including older daughter Liza, and Jack Jones, singing yuletide songs around the fire. A Santa- costumed group of dancers gets into the house for one routine, and Mel Tormé and some carolers come to sing with Judy, where he adds some new lyrics to his classic number "The Christmas Song".
