General Hospital Spoilers: Amy Finds Something Horrific

28 July 2016 10:38 AM, PDT | TVovermind.com | See recent TVovermind.com news »

I believe it was just earlier this week I mentioned that things are not always as they seem on General Hospital. Claudette has been making it her business to seem like she’s a wonderful, kind person with so much to offer those in the town of Port Charles, and so many people seem fooled by her sudden desire to be a nice person who has nothing to do with anything nefarious. However, Maxie is not fooled. What we see happening here is Maxie being outcast by the fact that everyone else seems to believe that Claudette is only trying to

Once upon a time, there were lots of soap operas on the networks' daytime schedules. Most were cancelled over the years and only four remain -- The Bold and the Beautiful (CBS), Days of Our Lives (NBC), General Hospital (ABC), and The Young and the Restless (CBS). How long will these four survive? That will likely have a lot to do with the ratings. Stay tuned.Note: Each network measures its own programming's success separately. Still, it's fun to see how the four of them rank against each other.Read More… »

The Walking Dead fans may still be reeling from a jam-packed Sdcc showing, but with an October premiere officially locked, all eyes will soon turn to the season 7 premiere.

To ensure excitement remains cranked up to a fever-pitch, Entertainment Weekly has unveiled its latest cover, placing Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s deranged Negan front and center. Wielding his trusty Lucille – that gnarly baseball bat paraded in front of our heroes during the season 6 finale – Morgan also spoke to the outlet in anticipation of that all-important reveal, and why Negan will spend much of the new season “wreaking havoc.” Yes, the nail-biting tension will stretch far beyond October 23.

“What you’re going to see in the first half of this season is Negan wreaking havoc. And some of your characters that you’ve grown to love are not going to be on the show anymore, and it’s going to end badly for them. »

General Hospital Spoilers: Claudette is Up to Something Sinister with Nathan

27 July 2016 1:05 PM, PDT | TVovermind.com | See recent TVovermind.com news »

It seems that whatever Claudette has up her sleeve might just be working for her on General Hospital. She shocked Nathan yesterday when she made an apology to him and to Maxie, and it seems that he might have a new opinion of her. Does he no longer feel she is the horrible person she made herself out to be so many times in his past? Does she mean it when she apologizes to them for meddling and getting in their way? Don’t count on it. We think that it’s all just a part of her elaborate plan to manipulate

General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Throws A Wrench in Julian’s Grand Scheme

Things are heating up on General Hospital, and it seems that we still have more questions than answers. What is it about this show that leaves us wondering what is going on and without any answers to any of our most pressing questions? For one, what is Parker doing writing Kristina a letter? We will find out that he is, but we won’t know what it says for some time. He has to say what’s on his mind, and we are all going to be left wondering what that is. And more importantly; how will she respond to it if

John Oliver Fact-Checks Donald Trump at the Rnc in Latest Profane Tirade

25 July 2016 5:15 AM, PDT | PEOPLE.com | See recent PEOPLE.com news »

It wouldn't be right to start the Democratic National Convention on Monday without a few thoughts from John Oliver on Donald Trump - and last week's fiery Republican National Convention. Of course, Oliver has plenty to say. After dubbing the Rnc to be the "most apocalyptic thing" to ever happen to Cleveland on Sunday's edition of HBO's Last Week Tonight, the British comedian examined just how grounded in facts the Republican convention speeches were. Oliver played a clip of former General Hospital star Antonio Sabato, Jr. telling CNN that he "didn't believe" President Barack Obama "is a Christian" and is »

Rick Springfield to Play Lucifer in ‘Supernatural’ Season 12

24 July 2016 1:08 PM, PDT | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

The devil will be facing some new “Affairs of the Heart” in “Supernatural” season 12.

The musician has been cast as Lucifer in “Supernatural” season 12 and will play the devil in the first few episodes of the season. Executive producers Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb announced the news at the CW show’s Comic-Con panel on Sunday, moderated by Richard Speight Jr., who appeared in the long-running series.

Rick Springfield is going to be the new Satan,” Speight said at the event.

Lucifer last season took possession of Castiel’s body, and will be trying out another vessel in the new season, the producers revealed. “You need a really strong vessel like Sam, like Castiel,” said Singer.

“The first vessel that [Lucifer] feels comfortable with is a rock star who’s a little bit on the down side who’s trying to come back,” Singer explained.

Full Trailer For The Walking Dead Season 7 Arrives, Khary Payton Joins Cast

22 July 2016 2:01 PM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Nipping at the heels of the nail-biting teaser trailer from earlier today, AMC executed its one-two punch during Sdcc’s ongoing The Walking Dead panel, not only confirming that season 7 will premiere on October 23, but also rolling out the first full-length trailer that finds our heroes at the mercy of Jeffery Dean Morgan’s sneering baddie, Negan.

Running through each character one emotionally touching vignette at a time, the full trailer is a sombre reminder of the road so far, and effectively ups the ante ahead of the long-awaited reveal on October 23.

In related news, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed earlier today that Khary Payton (Teen Titans, General Hospital) has boarded AMC’s flagship as a series regular. The exact identity of that character is considered a fairly big spoiler, so we’ve included it after the jump.

It’s always interesting in Port Charles and on General Hospital. Honestly, if people could mind their own business for five minutes, most all the things that go wrong here could be easily avoided. Lives could be saved, relationships might actually have a chance of success and people might live happier lives. However, that’s no fun. We prefer to see people doing the wrong thing, making mistakes and not making good decisions. It’s so much more fun that way. Now we get to see that Finn is about to suffer big time. Garry Marshall, ‘Pretty Woman’ Director and Creator of ‘Happy Days,’ Dies at 81

19 July 2016 7:57 PM, PDT | Variety - Film News | See recent Variety - Film News news »

Garry Marshall, who created some of the 1970s’ most iconic sitcoms including “Happy Days,” “The Odd Couple,” “Laverne and Shirley” and “Mork and Mindy” and went on to direct hit movies including “Pretty Woman” and “The Princess Diaries,” died Tuesday of complications from pneumonia. He was 81. The news was first reported by Access Hollywood.

Marshall went from being TV writer to creating sitcoms that touched the funny bones of the 1970s generation and directing films that were watched over and over: “Happy Days” helped start a nostalgia craze that has arguably never abated, while “Mork and Mindy” had a psychedelically goofy quality that catapulted Robin Williams to fame and made rainbow suspenders an icon of their era. “Pretty Woman” likewise cemented Julia Roberts’ stardom, while “The Princess Diaries” made Anne Hathaway a teen favorite.

Major spoiler alert! The season one finale of Stranger Things ties up a lot of loose ends, some in more subtle ways that others. He is presently in stable condition in Hawkins General Hospital. Byers' mother, Joyce Byers, alleges Will was the subject of a secret government program run by the Hawkins National Laboratory.
