Life is a difficult challenge for Mr Bean, who despite being a grown adult, has trouble completing even the simplest of tasks. Thankfully, his perseverance is usually rewarded, and he finds an ingenious way around the problem.
An alien from the planet Irk is sent to Earth, not realising that his leaders were fooling him and didn't think a planet was there. He manages to fit in with school children but one boy sees through his disguise.

The Doctor is a renegade Time Lord: an eccentric, highly-intelligent scientist from a distant planet. He travels through time and space in the TARDIS, a curious device, larger on the inside than on the outside, which was designed to change its appearance to suit its surroundings. The most popular three seasons of the series were broadcast between 1975 and 1977, starred Tom Baker as the Doctor and were produced by Philip Hinchcliffe and script editor Robert Holmes. Hinchcliffe and Holmes deliberately made the series darker with the intention of expanding the audience and attracting more older children and adults. They often referenced famous horror novels and movies. During this period the series achieved the best ratings it ever managed, with over 40 episodes achieving more than 10 million viewers. The stories from this period have continued to dominate in fan polls ever since. However, this period of the series also attracted unfavourable attention from television watchdog Mary Whitehouse, who frequently complained that its levels of violence and horror were too frightening for children. The tradition of showing The Doctor's face in the opening titles was not introduced until Patrick Troughton's tenure with the program was under way. During Jon Pertwee's era, the producers experimented with changing the opening credits and music. One of the rejected opening credits was accidentally included on some prints of the story "Carnival of Monsters" that were broadcast overseas. See more »
'Dr.Who' was the first television programme I got hooked on. It was 1968, when Patrick Troughton was the incumbent. The story, a repeat of 'Evil Of The Daleks', was the most incredible thing I'd ever seen. Wild horses couldn't have dragged me away from the set at the same time the following week. Dalekmania had passed by then, so I never got my toy, but I did get a Dalek colouring book on Christmas morning, as well as that year's 'Dr.Who' annual. As the '60's gave way to the '70's, my interest in the show intensified as Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker steered a successful course through the choppy seas of T.V. ratings. I started to lose interest in the '80's though, though that was probably my fault for growing up. When it ended in 1989, I wasn't surprised. Now its back
and a whole new generation of children are just as excited about
'Dr.Who' as I was back in 1968 - my enthusiasm has rekindled. We can all look back on the 1963/89 series as 'the classic years' even though as far as I'm concerned they're not over yet.
