When the group enters the TV studio, Cal (the Marine) has his rifle slung over his arm as they close the doors. When they finally close the second door and move into the studio, his rifle is missing for one brief scene. When they finally get inside and Cal introduces himself, his rifle suddenly appears on his shoulder again.
When Lisa goes into the fog to search for Tom and the professor, she is empty-handed, having left her purse in the car. When she re-emerges she is carrying her purse in her right hand.
When the Professor and his daughters pick up Tom, the interior shots of them driving have completely blacked out windows rather than a daylight road scene.
When Cal and the Professor are in their newly acquired black Cadillac, the wide interior shots show a white car and although the car is rocking back and forth, you can see through the windows that the car is not moving.
As the group is driving away from the airport, they come across a car that had been attacked by the Slime People. In a close-up you can see a couple of other vehicles parked behind it through the car's window, however in a wide view the car is up against the side of a hill and no other vehicles would have been visible.
When the pilot is trying to land in LA he is flying in rough weather with no visibility. The exterior shots of the ground below show a calm, cloudless sky.
At 1:04:07 Tom has regained the rifle he left in the cave earlier while fighting with one of the Slime People.
At 1:03:50 Prof. Galbraith tells Tom Gregory the buckets of salt are "just outside the door".
At 1:04:00, Tom tells the two girls to "bring those buckets" which are in the same room everyone is already standing in.
During their initial scene together, set in Dr. Galbraith's station wagon, Robert Hutton speaks over Judee Morton's line, starting "And, uh," before she has finished her line "and us."
