- The character Kevin is jokingly referred to as "Sanjuro" at one point because he is treating a night stick as a sword. He also bounces it on his shoulder, not unlike the way Toshiro Mifune did with his sword when thinking in the Kurosawa films "Yojimbo" and "Sanjuro.
