Description: A pair of creators are looking to spin a tale that combines the cutthroat world of Wall Street with a magical world inspired by Harry Potter. That tale is titled Adventure Capital, and it comes from Jake Williamson and Britt Chandler Johnson, who have turned to Kickstarter backers in hopes of funding a pilot.
The protagonist of Adventure Capital is Hale Hill, a Wall Street analyst who is fired from his job. For his next gig, he looks to exploit the pure-hearted and passionate players of a fictitious sport called Squimig, which stands as an analogue for the also-fictitious sport of Quidditch from Harry Potter. What will follow, Williamson and Johnson hope, is a funny a charming look into the eccentricities of nerd culture. »
