Model turned actress Estella Warren is being wooed to play a Bond girl in the next 007 film. The 22-year old stunner caught the eye of Bond producers after appearing in this summer's Planet Of The Apes remake in a skimpy skinpiece. According to Britain's Punch magazine, a pal of one of the producers says, "She looks great in and out of swimwear and has the most kissable lips imaginable. Estella's got 'Bond girl' written all over her." Shooting on the next, as yet untitled, Bond flick starts in 2002, the 40th anniversary of James Bond's big screen debut in Dr. No. Pierce Brosnan will reprise his role as the super spy. »

Bond Girl Bikini Sold For $61,500

The bikini worn by Ursula Andress in Dr. No has sold for $61,500 at auction. The costume was made from one of Andress's own bras covered with ivory cotton. It has clearly seen better days and was more yellowy-brown than white, but the bidding was furious nonetheless. A telephone bidder finally bought the bikini. Andress has attributed her success to the outfit. »

It was an image that became iconic in the 1960s and now the famous white bikini worn by the stunning Ursula Andress in the first James Bond film, Dr. No (1962), is to be sold - and could rake in as much as $75, 000. The very first Bond babe is selling the famous two-piece she wore as she emerged from the sea in the 1962 thriller. Andress says, "That bikini made me a star." »
