In the scene where Stanley Baxter's character, disguised as a vicar, is hit in the head by a soccer ball, the boy who asks for the ball back is Dennis Waterman (then aged 14), who later starred in TV's The Sweeney (1975), Minder (1979), and New Tricks (2003). Several adult cast members of this film subsequently appeared in 'Minder' with Waterman.
It was noted with interest that this film was one booked for showing in the Michigan State Prison in 1964. (reference: New York Post, 28 February 1964)
One of the robbers in the car yells, "don't look now!" Julie Christie would later star in a movie titled Don't Look Now (1973).
