Quotes

[first lines of each episode]
Ted McKeever: This is skydiving, controlled flight without wings - even for experts, the most dangerous game going. This jump, like every jump you will see on this series, is made by a highly trained man who is playing the game for the highest stakes there are - his own life. He has one, and only one, safety device at his command... his parachute and its ripcord.

Yeah! My heroes!
3 October 1999 | by See all my reviews

These guys were the coolest for a seven-year-old kid! My Ripcord parachute man was one of the coolest toys too, until it floated off on an air current. At the time I had no idea the main characters were 'Festus' and 'Dash Riprock'. I've had fun looking back at these old shows and seeing who played in them, and trying to think where MY mind was in 1962.
