A good and entertaining film director Fernando Palacios
7 November 2010 | by (Spain) – See all my reviews

In a district of Madrid inhabited by families of high social class, a group of boys and girls are amused of continuous, stay up late, and drink, while their parents, already by disregard or by requirements of their pace of life, what ignored almost all of their children. However, each of these young people in greater or lesser degree, a problem.

"Siempre es Domingo" is an interesting film which was trying to heighten Spanish youth those years of the dangers they watched with alcohol, music and dances indecent (sex nor mentioned), and to this end with a moralizing script of Julio Coll, Rafael J. Salvia, Pedro Masó and Martin Abizanda, and was filmed in color by a great director Fernando Palacios, author of the also educational and entertaining film "La gran familia" 1962. The film has a script very agile and no lapses at any time. The photography is good, and the performance of almost all the actors is excellent, among others of Pepe Rubio, Carlos Larrañaga, Pedro Osinaga, and Gracita Morales.

It's musical theme is the same as the title of the film, and was a great success of the singer of Granada "Gelu" (Maria Angeles Rodriguez Fernandez), at the beginning of the 1960.
