Lee Montague's E-Type Jaguar drop head changes registration from 1600RW to 77RW between its two appearances.
Lee Montague's sportscars 1600 RW and 77 RW are actually two of the very earliest E-Type Jaguars ever built. 77 RW was a production prototype and was the actual car which launched the model at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show. It still exists and was seen in a 2011 episode of Top Gear (2002). 1600 RW was the first E-Type roadster in right-hand drive ever sold; its first owner was 'Lofty' England, Jaguar's racing team manager and engineer.
