It is actually quite amazing, a Steven Spielberg film from the 1950's, the skills on one of the world's best ever filmmakers coming to life. This was his very first film, and well deserves to be acclaimed, as it has brought a new perspective of film to the world, everybody has to start somewhere, and this was the point for Steve. The film shows the talent of an imaginative kid (Steve) playing around with a camera belonging to his father, and acting out scenes of a war nature, but it was done more for the fun of it than anything else. It is the first of a string of award winning films that have taken the world to surprise, and developed the imaginative state of the mind in many, many people all around the world. This film certainly deserves top marks for the efforts that a small boy put into a hobby on the way of making it become one of a chain of top shots for the Hollywood film industry.
