Brilliant film in every way, 10 November 2003

The 1959 film version of "Ben-Hur" is a brilliant classic in every way. It features superb acting, magnificent direction, terrific sets, costumes, cinematography, and editing, and one of the greatest film scores in the history of motion pictures. It deserved every Oscar it got, and sports one of the greatest cinematic achievements ever filmed: the Chariot Race. See it. Treasure it. It's my favorite film of all time.
