The dumping of radioactive waste in the ocean disturbs a prehistoric monster than can project electric shocks and radioactive beams. After terrorizing the English coast, it is discovered that if the creature is destroyed with conventional weaponry it would spread a dangerous amount radioactive contamination over the entire country, with this fact preventing the military from attacking the monster as it nears London. Norm Rossington, who played Norm in A Hard Day's Night, is one of the men killed in the car when the Beast tosses it into the Thames. When Karnes finishes dissecting the fish, which he suspects might be contaminated by radiation, he washes his hands in a nearby sink. However, a moment earlier, he takes his pocket knife, which he has been using to cut the fish, folds it and puts it back in his pants pocket without wiping it off or cleaning it. See more
