Storyline

William Harris is an old-time music publisher who made his daughter Pat a partner. Harris hates rock'n'roll and rejects all popular music submitted. His son-in-law, Steve, is more progressive and this leads to many fights between the two men. William Demarest and Stubby Kaye were great performers, but there didn't seem to be any momentum behind the series. The conflict between the old and new music? No, there seemed to be no one willing or able to put any real tension, or real balance, into that angle.
