One of the best of the Regals!

Copyright 1958 by Regal Films, Inc. Released through 20th Century- Fox. No New York opening. U.S. release: 1 December 1958. U.K. release: 23 March 1959. Australian release: 26 November 1959. 70 minutes.

SYNOPSIS: John Agar is the town's marshal who has the local saloon owner, Barton MacLane, in his sights.

COMMENT: Quite interesting "B" western. There is not nearly as much dialogue padding as in other Regalscope pictures and the action scenes come across very effectively. The cast is interesting, performances are good and photography well above average. All in all, this entry must be classed as one of the most entertaining Regalscope pictures, and it is punchily directed by former film editor (1937-1949) Paul Landres, who turned out "B" features from 1949 to 1963. And it stars the lovely Joyce Meadows, a very popular television actress who has made only a handful of movies.
