A good script, good direction and a superb cast.

The director and impresario of the theatre closed for some time, brings together four of the major players who belonged to the company. While waiting, update your current situation while recalling past moments, its successes and failures. Finally, tired of waiting, they decide to call his house and, stunned, they discover that has been murdered in his office at the theater. All may have committed the crime. From here, take a surreal situation in which each represents a different character under the direction of the dead.

"Culpables" is produced with little money, but relies on a good script, direction and a splendid cast of actors who know how to act, especially vocalize.

The action takes place in an old theatre in Madrid, at dawn. It's like a plot of "Who done it?" than half the film becomes great style suspense Alfred Hitchcock. And with theatrical references makes it shine more.

Despite being an austere production, technical aspects are very well made and not noticed anything over time. He even allowed to make a joke and a feint to censorship.
