A pleasant comedy in the 1950, 29 June 2009
6/10
Author: psagray from Spain

The professor "Don Carlos" (Félix Fernández) is a scientist who, after much research, discovers a chemical compound, in the form of bomb, is able to return to the people in peaceful beings. Just before his death, "Don Carlos" reveals himself to his friend and collaborator "Alfredo" (Fernando Fernan Gomez) part of his secret discovery. Antonio Román directs us a comedy that does not have large claims, but only to make people laugh. There are in the film two parties that we can separate, the lag in Madrid, and that makes in Paris. The first part may be the most entertaining. A good performance of Fernando Fernan Gomez, although it is not of the best of his career. Lovely performance of Felix Fernandez although it is small. And a cast of players of a great quality as the great José Isbert, interpreting the "Mr. Dupont" porter of the UN. Antero Villaescusa as "Polito" the neighbor fighter Julita Martinez, Manuel Alexandre, Angel Alvarez, Josefina Serratosa in a magnificent role of mother in law, Rafaela Aparicio, Luis Sanchez Polack (Tip) Antonio Riquelme as the "crazy"and comic passenger. The photograph in black and white of Manuel Merino is excellent. And ultimately "Bombas para la paz" is a comedy of a gentle humor and simple, as was very frequent in many films of those years. It makes us pass a pleasant time..
