Low budget affair filled with stock footage to simulate safari. Reflecting the mid 1950's, the African hunting guides areportrayed as competent and not as cartoonish.
Ann Sheridan looks somewhat haggard for her age and overly made up for a gal on safari. For Sheridan fans it's a mere 11 years on from the sultry Nora Prentiss. According to Wikipedia she is reported as saying the movie should have been lost in Kenya. She deserved a better final movie appearance than this.
