Untamed Blonde Bombshell, 10 July 2015
Author: Hotwok2013 from United Kingdom

There is really only one good reason to watch "Untamed Youth" & that is to ogle one of the silver screen's all-time great sex goddesses Mamie Van Doren. This sexploitation movie itself is well-nigh about as lurid & trashy as a movie possibly can be. It contains a corrupt, sleazy sheriff played by big John Russell who is having an affair with a frumpy middle-aged magistrate played by Lurene Tuttle. Young law-breakers are sent to a "correction farm" which is where Mamie & her sister (Lori Nelson) are sent as the movie begins. One of the most bizarre scenes shows Eddie Cochran breaking into song in a cotton field. This causes the delinquent farm hands to stop their cotton-picking & break out into dancing to his song. (Well you would, wouldn't you?.) In actual fact a lot of this odd-ball movie falls into the "so bad that it's good" category. Mamie Van Doren also does a couple of silly songs called "Oombala Baby" & "Go Calypso Go", but she can be forgiven because she just cannot help but inject truckloads of sex into whatever she sings or does. When she is on screen you really cannot take your eyes off her, well for us men at least. She has great legs & a fabulous figure fronted by a magnificent bust. None of this would be of much interest to female viewers & for them there isn't much reason to watch this at all, except possibly, if they are the type who get a kick out of watching really bad movies.
