Nice remake, 31 August 1999
Author: Miguel Angel Diaz Gonzalez (dalton22@terra.es) from Málaga, Málaga, Spain

In this remake of the film based on the Spanish song María de la O, Lola Flores is the first star. Spanish popular folk songs are often small stories, and the performers use to do a little theater play while they sing. This is the case of the song on which this film is based. If you like Lola Flores, then you'll enjoy this film. There's no good acting here, but there are many nice songs performed by a young Lola Flores, and there's also a plot. Only recommended for flamenco fans.
