Film premiered at the Palace of the Music of Madrid on 21 April 1957, "El hombre que viajaba despacito" with "Fulano y Mengano" and the subsequent film "El hombre con el paraguas blanco" the trilogy humanist, poetic and comical that determines an interlude in the work of the good director Joaquin Luis Romero Marchent.

"El hombre que viajaba despacito" is an interesting movie, despite being carried out with very low budget, and we can put on the line of neorrealista cinema. This film is as value-added a hefty cast. Film "road movie," which changes scenarios and circumstances with great frequency, so that offers opportunities to successive a large number of brief actors of any condition, including distinguished veterans, and promising rookies.

The country that travels as slowly as may, is framed by a pervasive army, truck drivers drink wine "bulk" and that circulate without brakes, tourists who do not learn nothing, men linked to a deck of cards, clever children, puppeteers squalid yokels, brutal and insensitive.

A unique and irreplaceable film, marked by the genius of one of the greatest humorists in the history of Spain, the immeasurable comic actor, radio, film, television and magazine, draftsman, writer and gymnast Miguel Gila.
