  • The Creature is shot in his face by Paul and he is seen holding his wound with much blood present, very shocking especially for 1957.

  • Its not likely anyone will really be frightened, because its pretty cheesy.
  • The monster may be frighting to young children but most others will find it corny.
  • The scene where the elderly blind man is killed and the grandson looking for his grandfather may be upsetting and disturbing for sensitive viewers.
  • When the creature is shot blood pores from his head, this was very shocking to show that much blood in a motion picture especially for 1957.

  • The Creature kills Justine the maid, after Dr. Frankenstein uses The Creature's psychopathic mind to murder her.
  • At the end, Dr. Frankenstein tries to shoot The Creature and wounds Elizabeth on accident and then sets The Creature on fire killing him after falling into a pit of acid, Much of this is not shown due to cutting away immediately after he falls into the acid.
