Reasonable enough Daffy Duck cartoon
5 July 2010 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

I did enjoy Boston Quackie on the whole. It is a little slow to start with, and I too wasn't quite sure about the opponent's accent. Anyway these are minor quibbles really, because Boston Quackie while no cartoon masterpiece is reasonably entertaining. It isn't the most fast-moving or the funniest, but I was pleased and entertained. The animation is colourful and vibrant enough, and the characters are at least drawn well. The music is rousing and has lots of energy, the dialogue is witty and funny, the story works and the sight gags are enjoyable. Daffy is rock solid as pretty much always, the female duck he was with at the beginning was cute and Porky was decent. And to top it all, Mel Blanc is stellar with the vocals, so overall I enjoyed it. 8/10 Bethany Cox
