Storyline

At a used car lot, Mr. Magoo is intent on buying a car for his nephew Waldo. He is slick talked into buying an old clunker thanks to a shifty salesman but he drives it off anyway. Unfortunately, the myopic Magoo drives off a pier and under the ocean where he mistakes the various aquatic surroundings such as fish, sunken boats, and seals for other cars, dilapidated mansions, and a horn happy driver respectively. An Oscar Winner, And A Spectacular Short!
5 July 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I happened to notice that this Mr. Magoo animated short film happened to win an Oscar for Best Animated Short Film. Well I am not surprised one bit that it did win, because Magoo's Puddle Jumper is an Oscar Winner, and it is also a spectacular animated short film! I was laughing my head off at this marvel, yes, it really was as hysterical as I am saying it is! Well it seemed natural that I would love this, because Mr. Magoo has always been and always will be one of my all time favorite animated characters!

This is probably one of the best Mr. Magoo cartoon shorts of all time, other great ones include When Magoo Flew (which by the way, is another Academy Award winner), Trouble Indemnity, and Magoo's Masterpiece! I just plain love Mr. Magoo, he's funny, and he's silly, and I really have to love somebody like that! Like I said earlier, I am not surprised at all that this won the Academy Award, because it totally and completely deserved it! And by the way, the humor and comedy in this short can make up for the rather low-quality animation.

To all people who are fans of Mr. Magoo, this is one Mr. Magoo animated short film that you have really got to see! When you watch this, you will see why this won the Academy Award. I hope you find this hysterical, because I found it hysterical!
