A distracted Ben blows off Curtis, who fears that Ben will abandon him like everybody else. Denise "tests" Andy by being nice to him, and he responds with a kiss. An even more suspicious Denise confides in Kim, who promises she will get to the truth behind Andy's paralysis. Thinking Denise is falling for him, Andy asks John to drop the case against Ben, but Dr. Dixon refuses. A fuming Holden demands that Abigail stay at the farm with him for safety from David, but Abigail refuses to go. Molly assures Abby that this is best right now. Jack pulls Julia's car into the garage and notices the bloodstained cloth. Hal continues to question Julia, but Jack gets Hal to back off. Jack asks Julia about the bloody towel. Julia admits to her husband that David forced her to drive him to Chicago. She claims he held her at gunpoint. Hal gets a call that Stenbeck has been killed. Julia is relieved, but continues to be spooked by David's looming threat to expose her connection to Lowe. Molly gets an eerie call from a man singing a lullaby. In Lassiter, Jake bonds with two kids, Timmy and Becca, at the park where he once hung out with Vicky. Becca reminds Jake of Vicky. Jake tells Vicky that he's met someone new, but is having trouble saying good-bye. The swing starts to move as Molly and Vicky's voices ask where Jake is. |

Margo receives the devastating news that Hal was shot and killed when he happened upon a robbery and took a bullet intended for a 15 year-old kid. She then breaks the word to Will and Jack and they are all overcome with grief. Will tracks down Barbara to tell her the sad news. Hal's friends and co-workers gather to pay their respects at the police station and Margo suggests they move it to Yo's since Hal wouldn't want them sitting around with long faces. When the crowd exits, Jack stays behind and it's then that Carly enters. They hold each other fiercely, coming together in their shared grief. Meanwhile, Paul has gotten word about Hal and is conflicted about his feelings. Emily enters and Paul thinks he should be the one to tell her the news. She's rocked, disbelieving and they both head to Yo's. In a series of flashbacks, everyone recalls their greatest moments with Hal, ending with a moving toast by Jack to his dear friend. Adam calls and Margo breaks the news about his dad. Jack and Carly then exit to tell Parker. When Dusty learns, he has warm words with Will and vows they will all stay a strong family. Meanwhile and prior to learning the news about Hal, Carly catches Katie breaking into Simon's room. Katie covers her jealousy but Carly sees through her, knowing she fears Simon and she are finally over. Carly understands how hard it is to let go of an old love and challenges that although Katie is happily married, she doesn't want anyone else to have Simon. Carly leaves and Katie continues to search Simon's room. When Simon enters, she hides but he finds her. She is able to deflect her real reason for being there but Simon is too preoccupied looking for Carly, fearing the loan shark's goons may be after her. He goes looking for her but finds her at the police station in a family moment with Jack and Parker. |

After a run in with Simon, Katie assures Mike that she could care less about Oakdale's latest couple. Later, Lucinda tells Katie she wants her to write a sequel to Oakdale Confidential. Cornered by Vienna, Carly tells her that Simon is still in love with her, while an eavesdropping Simon plays along and asks to see Vienna alone. Carly tries to distract the Prince, and agrees to take a drive with him, but is terrified when the Prince drives like a maniac. Jack chases Carly upon hearing she's left with the Prince. Simon tries to persuade a drunk Vienna to remove the necklace, but she refuses. When she finally passes out Simon goes for the jewels, only to have her wake up ready to make love. Meanwhile, Jade is hesitant to accept Adam's invitation to the ball, but he offers her a way to attend unnoticed. Casey makes arrangements for Gwen to sing at the Lakeview Lounge, so that Adam can hear her sing. A masked Jade runs off in search of Luke but after recognizing her voice, Maddie corners Jade. Later, Meg is called to tend to a sick guest, but arrives only to find Craig. She blasts him for his disappearing stunt but is interrupted when he kisses her. Furious, she leaves only to have Paul find her disheveled. When the magician can't make Craig reappear, Dusty realizes that Craig has gone after Johnny and tears out to protect him. Dusty, Barbara, and Lucy panic, until they discover Johnny safe with Chaz. Barbara blames Lucy, but Dusty defends her. He leaves Johnny with Lucy and heads back to the party. After they leave, Lucy answers the door and is shocked at who's standing there. Back at the party, Dusty thinks he sees Craig and tackles him. |

Carly is angry with Simon when they are arrested since Simon doesn't own the building. Simon gets the owner to drop the charges. Mike tells Carly he's quitting working for Simon - and Carly should, too. When she hears that Simon bribed a building inspector, she does just that. But Simon charms her out of it. They make their presentation to the investors and, when it goes well, Simon kisses Carly. Carly breaks it off and warns that it better not happen again. Henry guesses that Louis is behind the murders and insists he and Maddie go to the police, and also tell Eve. Maddie can't bear to break her sister's heart, so Henry goes alone. Meanwhile, Margo is confronting Eve, and Casey is lamenting that he never knew Maddie at all. Henry tells Eve that Louis raped Maddie and also that he's the slasher. They find a sweatshirt among his things. Meanwhile, Margo questions Maddie about the mask. Maddie admits it's hers, and Margo arrests her. Holden schedules an impromptu christening. He and Luke find a list of baby names that Lily liked and, after picking one, Holden asks Luke to be his brother's godfather. Carly and Simon realize their open house is ruined due to the storm. Not only that, but they're trapped inside. And the lights are out. The pair decides to make the best of a bad situation and get drunk. Then make out. Katie stumbles in the snow, looking for Mike. She finds him, injured, in a cabin. Dusty discovers a half-frozen Lucy sheltering Johnny. She urges him to leave her and take care of Johnny. They're rescued by a miracle tractor. At the hospital, Bob tells Dusty that Lucy saved Johnny's life. Paul leaps through the flames to rescue Meg and Emily. They make it to the farmhouse, but Emily refuses to let Meg deliver her baby. Eventually, there is nothing Emily can do about it. Emily tells Paul she'd like to name their baby Jennifer. But, when the premature baby is born, she isn't crying. Holden and Luke search the hospital for a missing Lily. They split up to look. Holden finds her in the chapel. |

Paul tries to keep Emily calm while Meg works valiantly to save the baby. But even when it becomes clear Meg's efforts are in vain, Emily refuses to believe that her baby is gone and goes into a temporary state of denial, accusing Paul of switching her baby with the now-dead baby in order to keep Emily from raising their child. With Meg's help, Emily finally comes to accept that her baby is really dead and while Paul pulls Emily and their baby close, Meg stands by watching and wondering what more will come. Mike and Katie rejoice in having found each other despite the horrible storm. Meanwhile, Simon and Carly have decided to make the best of things in the now-finished apartment. But just when it looks like Carly's about to give into her attraction to Simon and finally make love, an electrical pole hits the building and a wall caves in, trapping Carly and Simon. Simon manages to free himself and Carly. But when they survey the damage, they both realize everything they've been working so hard for has been completely destroyed. So, Simon suggests the only thing he thinks can make them feel better - to get drunk. Holden's reeling off finding Lily awake, although clearly suffering some after effects of the coma. Bob assures him that it's all to be expected and hopefully, in time, Lily's memory will return. But even as Holden and Luke do their best not to press Lily about what she remembers, Holden is not prepared to discover Lily doesn't remember that they have a new baby. |

Dusty is shocked to find Craig holding Johnny with Lucy standing beside them. He demands that Craig give him the baby and threatens to call the police. Craig announces that his conviction was overturned. Dusty is outraged and wonders if Lucy knew about this. Lucy insists she knew nothing about it and Craig confirms. But Dusty is too distraught to care. He has the baby checked out of the hospital and leaves Lucy behind. Emily and Paul mourn the loss of their baby. Jack arrives and Meg gets him to take them to the hospital. There, Emily blames Meg for the baby's death. Susan arrives to comfort Emily while Paul tells Meg he doesn't blame her. Later, Paul goes to the chapel to pray, fearing the loss of his baby is retribution for keeping Jennifer's child from her. He is shocked when Craig arrives and taunts him. Carly and Simon get tipsy to deal with their misfortune. Simon says it's clear they won't be able to recover from the damage. Upset Carly bursts into tears. Jack arrives in time to find Carly being comforted in Simon's arms, wearing a peignoir. She tries to explain but Jack says it's not necessary and after ascertaining they don't need medical help, leaves. Alone, Carly insists Simon can't walk away from this mess the way he does all the other messes in his life. Lily is upset, unable to accept that she's had a baby and forgotten about it. When Lucinda arrives, Holden brings the baby to Lily and it all comes back to her. They gather the other children for a family reunion, but just as Lily is saying how happy she is that they're all together, Rose appears and says that's not exactly true. Someone is missing. |

Jade reveals to Luke that she's not really pregnant and Luke threatens to tell Will if Jade doesn't come clean. Luke then tries to make Jade realize that there is no hope for her in regards to Will; his heart belongs to someone else. Jade gets rid of Luke and calls Gwen, asking her to meet. When Will arrives at the hospital, he reads from Luke's attitude that something is going on just as Gwen and Jade come face-to-face. Everyone is appalled at Craig's plan to name a foundation in Jennifer's honor except for Dusty who has a surprisingly calm reaction. Meanwhile, Craig comes upon Meg and when she accuses him of just using her to annoy Paul, Craig gets an idea. Carly discovers Simon's suitcase full of money, and she rails at him for doing exactly what Jack predicted he would do. Simon admits that he is trouble and urges Carly to make a clean break from him while she still can. Meanwhile, Jack tells Mike that Carly is sleeping with Simon and Mike makes it clear he doesn't want Katie to know. |

Paul tears up Emily's press release announcing the formation of Craig's foundation. When he guilts her, she fires back claiming she is just returning the favor from when Paul ignored Jennifer's dying wish to set Emily free. Meanwhile, Craig helps Meg with some chores around the farm as she persuades him to drop the foundation. Paul arrives and attacks Craig before Meg can reveal he is dropping the foundation. A fight ensues between Meg and Paul and Craig is clearly happy his ploy about the foundation worked. When Jade comes to, she is surprised to see Lily at her bedside. Jade recalls the accident and realizes that Will and Gwen must now know the truth. Lily then reveals to Jade that she's Rose's daughter and an astonished Jade ultimately accepts what Lily's saying. She comes clean about the pregnancy and is surprised when Lily forgives and embraces her as part of the family. Meanwhile, Will tells Dallas that he wants to press charges against Jade. Lucinda is furious to learn what Jade has been up to. Lily then interrupts and points out that Will should not be so harsh, after all, he killed Jade's mother. Will asks Jade for forgiveness and she asks the same from him. Later, Will reminds Gwen that the night's events have removed the last obstacle to their happiness and they go home to celebrate. Katie backs off, seeing Simon and Carly embrace, and runs right into Jack. Katie leaves and Jack brings Carly to the station for questioning about the loan shark. When she resists and questions his motives, he admits that he still cares about her. Although she still loves Jack, too, Carly lies to protect Simon and Jack throws her out. Later, Katie comes pounding on Simon's door and reams him out, suggesting that he stop using Carly to get to her. Simon's impassioned defense of Carly rocks a stunned Katie as she realizes he's in love with Carly. Meanwhile, the loan shark's goon calls his boss and tells him that Carly is singing to the cops. |

In the wake of Jade not being pregnant, Will and Gwen decide to have a make shift honeymoon and Maddie and Casey help them to celebrate. Later, however, Will gets a disturbing phone call and Gwen wonders what is wrong. Craig crashes the hospital board meeting to apologize and announce an alternative to his foundation idea. Craig reveals he is planning a hospital benefit for Halloween and the guest of honor is the Prince of Leonia who is bringing the crown jewels. Dusty surprises all and encourages Craig to throw his party, confiding later in Lucinda his hopes Craig will soon reveal his hand. Katie can't control her dreams in which Simon always ends up in Carly's arms. She opens her soul to Snickers, truly bothered by the idea that Carly and Simon could be sleeping together. She decides to find out for herself and heads out. Meanwhile, Carly and Simon discuss the urgency of getting their building up and sold before the loan shark bites. Simon bribes a contractor to get to work while Jack confronts the loan shark and warns that he's watching him. When an excited Simon tells Carly he might be able to sell the building, romance sparks. Later, Carly catches Katie trying to break into Simon's suite while the loan shark lets Simon know that Carly has gotten him into some serious hot water. |

Meanwhile, Adam arrives in Oakdale, heartbroken over the news of his father. Margo comforts him and he decides to stay in Oakdale for a while. Later, Casey tells Adam about Gwen and her music. Simon finds Carly with Jack at the police station. When Jack leaves, Simon makes his presence known and asks Carly to go to Australia with him, fearing their safety. But, Carly says she won't go and just when Simon feels all is hopeless, something in the paper gives Simon hope. Craig is talking business with a mourning Emily when Dusty enters, wanting to enlist Emily's help in keeping tabs on Craig. Emily promises to help him. As preparations begin for the upcoming gala fund-raiser, Meg finds a gown marked for her. Craig appears and lets her know it's a gift for being the only person in Oakdale who hasn't treated him like scum since his return. Craig then thanks her for convincing him to back off the Jennifer benefit, and move on to do something good for the children's wing. Meanwhile, Paul hires a PI to have Craig tailed, convinced he is going to put his plan in motion at the gala. When Paul comes upon Meg and Craig together, he demands to know what is going on. Meg reveals that she has to go to the gala, hospital policy and Paul is livid. Harried, overworked Tom complains to Adam about his workload keeping him from spending quality time with his family. He tells Adam about Craig's job offer and Adam urges him to pursue it. He says to let Hal's death teach them that life is too short to be stressed and overworked. Simon muses over a newspaper photo of Vienna wearing the Crown Jewels of Leonia with an announcement that she is coming to town for Craig's gala. When Carly catches him in the act, Simon talks about his old ways, when he could steal and fence jewels in a heartbeat. Carly balks, claims the sale of the first condos will keep the loan shark at bay until they get the rest of the money. Simon appears to agree but later when Carly leaves, Simon starts to trash the apartment. When Carly returns she is shocked. |

At Crash, Adam meets Gwen and agrees to return later to hear her sing. When everyone starts talking about the gala, Maddie says Lisa rented everyone costumes. When Luke and Jade arrive, having agreed to go to the gala together, Gwen accuses Jade of following her and they argue. Later, Gwen is disappointed when Adam doesn't return to hear her sing but Jade is even more disappointed when Lily forbids her from going to the gala. When Emily is talking to Dusty, Craig comes up to her. She covers and later, having agreed to help Dusty gather information, overhears him say he wants to make someone disappear at the ball. Meanwhile, Lucy is disappointed when Dusty makes it clear they won't be going to the gala together so she accepts a date from someone else. Vienna returns to Oakdale to attend the gala on the arm of the Prince. She introduces herself to Jack, head of security for the gala and he is interested to learn that she knows Simon Frasier. Meanwhile, Carly thinks Simon knows who trashed the apartment and Simon admits he thinks it was his loan shark. Lucy's date arrives to pick her up and Lucinda muses she wants to go to the party and check the guy out. Luke and Lucinda leave and Lily invites Jade to spend the night with her and the family. Jade refuses to intrude on Lily and Holden's family time. She heads to Yo's and runs into Adam. They get to talking and her words about family inspire Adam to go be with his. He asks her to accompany him to the gala and they head off together. Carly arrives at the party and notices the heavy security as Jack orders the guards to be especially vigilant due to the jewels and Craig. She sets her plan in motion and transforms herself into Grace Kelly - the Prince's weakness. Meanwhile, Emily confides to Dusty that Craig plans to make someone disappear tonight and the two vow to keep searching for answers. Craig is curious when he sees them talking but moves on and makes the grand introduction of the Prince and Vienna. Later in the evening a magician begins a trick and announces he's going to make someone disappear. Jack, Paul and Dusty are alerted when Craig volunteers. Emily runs in and recognizes the magician as someone she saw Craig talking to. Suddenly Craig disappears. |

At the party, Dusty realizes the man he's tackled is a decoy as a stunned Lucy finds Craig at the door. Dusty then shows up and accuses Craig of luring him from the baby and demands his arrest. But Tom reveals to everyone that Craig now has a legal right to be with Johnny, although Dusty will retain full custody. Meanwhile, a suspicious Paul wonders what happened between Meg and Craig. Adam is impressed when he hears Gwen sing, and Will realizes that he wants to put all his efforts in to making Gwen a star. Casey and Maddie find themselves ready to be intimate, but a slasher look-a-like cuts things short. Luke finds Jade crying, as Adam approaches wanting to know what she did to make everyone so mad. Will and Gwen's excitement is cut short when Adam agrees to produce her CD under one condition that they get used to Jade. But Gwen refuses to work with someone who trusts Jade, and Will assures her they'll find her a producer with no strings. When Lily finds out that Jade left the house, she accuses her of going to the party with Adam to get close to Will. Jade apologizes for lying and assures her it had nothing to do with either guy, just as Adam appears at her door. Vienna runs into Katie and laments that they've both lost Simon to Carly. When Katie tries to brush it off, Vienna confirms that Simon and Carly made love. Hearing this, Katie tells Mike she wants him to stay with her so they can make a baby, but Katie may already be pregnant and takes an EPT test. Tom and Margo continue to be at odds about Tom's new position with Craig. Lucy threatens to press kidnapping charges if Craig doesn't back down from wanting custody of Johnny; Craig won't be deterred and Lucy is surprised. Katie is holding a boxful of memories of her life with Simon when he shows up on her doorstep. He demands they find closure to whatever they shared, but Katie demands he get out. Jack overhears Carly's message to Simon about her feelings for him. Jack admits he wants her back and after the initial shock Carly seems to want to fall into Jack's arms again, but at the last minute she stops herself. Adam wonders about the hold Gwen has on his brothers? Casey admits to what happened between he and Gwen. Adam agrees to try to work with Gwen, but if they don't click it won't work anyhow. Katie claims nothing about their life together was real, but Simon is angry claiming he could never fake that. Carly explains that she wanted Jack back for so long and at any point he could have come back, but he didn't. She is different now and she has realized it is too hard being married to him. Things are easier with Simon. Jack is crushed, but Carly feels she can't go backwards. When she shuts the door behind him, they both look devastated though. Craig thinks he has persuaded Lucy to back down, but Lucy shows back up with Dusty and Margo - who is there to arrest him. Katie demands Simon get out of her life and leave her alone and Simon hollers back he wants the same thing, but in the next instance, they are in each other's arms kissing passionately. |

Margo arrests Craig for having Lucy kidnapped a few years ago. Angry and shocked, Craig blames Dusty for turning his daughter against him and tells Lucy she'll regret this. Craig thinks the charges won't stick, but Margo assures him she can make them. When Tom hears how hurt Margo is, he quits as Craig's attorney. Dusty consoles a shaken Lucy, and thanks her for what she's done for him and Johnny. They begin to make love. Emily has arranged Craig's bail and he's confident he'll get another lawyer. Emily calls Craig's comeback a bust, but he tells her he can turn tonight's disaster into his advantage. Adam tries to help Gwen find her niche, even if it means being critical, which Will and Casey do not appreciate. Jade comes to see Adam, and Gwen tells her she's not welcome there. While Casey and Margo are proud that Tom quit his job with Craig, they realize money is tight. Craig isn't worried about Lucy's testimony, and soon after retrieves a vial of some drug. When Emily sees the drug, she tells Craig the price he's asking her to pay to get Paul back is too high. Emily leaves and Margo warns Craig that she will be watching him. Dusty and Lucy are about to make love, but Emily calls and tells Dusty that Craig's going to get out on bail. Alone with Lucy, Barbara says that Craig could use Lucy's relationship with Dusty against her in court. Dusty and Lucy agree to part till after the custody suit is settled. Mike tries to console Katie, who flashes back to making love with Simon. Katie tells Mike she's made a terrible mistake, but Lucinda interrupts before she can come clean, wondering where the new Oakdale Confidential pages are that Katie has been working on. Mike gets rid of Lucinda and assures Katie everything is fine as he carries her up to bed. Simon still shaken from his tryst with Katie, is thrown when Carly tells him she couldn't be with Jack because of her feelings for Simon. Gwen and Will are both exhausted from studying all night, but Gwen refuses to put off the recording session - determined to prove to Adam that she's committed. Adam, still being firm with Gwen, makes Will defensive, but Gwen eventually responds well to the constructive criticism. Adam thinks they're close to nailing the recording, but their studio time is up, and Gwen's fallen asleep. Paul tries to charm Meg out of being mad at him, and even though she reprimands him, she decides to forgive him. When Paul tells Meg that Craig was arrested she assumes Paul had something to with it, and reaffirms with him that she can handle any man. When Emily protests Craig's drugging plan, he informs her she'll be the one doing the drugging. When he tells her it's for Meg, Emily tries to understand how drugging Meg can get Craig custody of Johnny, but Craig remains enigmatic on that issue. As Craig and Emily watch, Paul and Meg argue, and Paul storms out. Emily asks Meg if she can speak with her, claiming that its time to bury the hatchet. Katie can't stop thinking of Simon, which is preventing her from writing. When Margo comes to visit, Katie admits that she's been thinking about Simon and tries to confess. Mike tells Carly he's relieved for Katie and a little worried for her that she's with Simon now. Lucinda tries to get more pages of Katie's book, but Mike blocks her from looking at the computer. When the editor calls demanding pages from an absent Katie, Mike accesses her computer and begins to read. Before confessing to Simon that she's still in love with him, he cuts her off and says making love was a mistake. He tells her he's ready to move on with Carly, and a hurt Katie makes Simon swear he won't tell anyone they slept together. Carly wonders why Katie ran out so quickly. Katie tells Margo about Simon's dismissal, and Margo points out Simon's lack of feelings should make it easier to get over him. Katie blurts than why did Simon sleep with her? Gwen falls asleep at the recording session, and Adam argues that it's extremely unprofessional. Adam finds Jade in the booth and they get ready to go out. While searching for Meg, Paul runs into Jack and confides in him that he and Meg had an argument about Craig. Later, Paul walks in on Craig taking care of Meg, and realizes that she is genuinely ill. Paul tells Meg he knows she kissed Craig, and while she defends herself, he is angry that she didn't tell him about the kiss when it happened. Dusty wonders if Lucy's having second thoughts about testifying, but he comforts her and they resolve to be together after the trial. Emily interrupts and tells Dusty privately that she's afraid that Craig has a plan to prevent Lucy from testifying. Off Emily's suggestion that Craig may be planning to drug Lucy to keep her from testifying, a concerned Dusty races out. Craig applauds Emily for doing his bidding, as Dusty's brakes fail and his car crashes. Simon and Carly discuss their relationship now that they've straightened things up with Katie and Mike. When Carly asks Jack if Simon can accompany her to tuck in the kids, Jack says he'd like to have a word with him. Jack knows that he and Carly are involved with a loan shark - and warns him that it could jeopardize Carly's probation and send her back to jail. When Mike wonders if Katie's confession on her computer is fact or fiction, she tells Mike the truth about sleeping with Simon. A hurt Mike realizes Katie wasn't planning on telling him, and he blasts her for coming back to him only because Simon turned her down. Mike slugs Simon, and tells Carly that he slept with Katie. Katie swears she loves Mike, but he wants nothing to do with her. Simon tells Carly he's certain now that he wants only Carly, but she doesn't buy it. Simon and Katie are left alone, and he accuses her of wanting Mike to find out so he would ruin things with Carly. Carly comes to see the kids, feeling used and humiliated and confides in Jack that she's made a mess of her life. When Holden makes plans to take Lily out, she can't bring herself to leave the house. Jade tries to help her feel better about herself, but Lily confesses that she's having trouble coming to terms with her age and looks. Paul tells Meg he knows the reason Craig told him about the kiss was to cause a problem, and that she must decide whose side she's on. Emily assures Henry that she and Craig are just business partners, but Henry urges Emily not to get involved with Craig's schemes. He deduces that she's still not over Paul, and tells her not to get hurt again by conspiring with Craig to get Paul back. Craig comes to Lucy and says he wants a chance to prove he's not a monster. Although she loves her father, she can't take his veiled threats and demands that he be straight with her. Meanwhile, Dusty is slumped over the wheel after the crash with no sign of life. Paul finds Dusty by the side of the road and Dusty says he thinks his brake lines were cut. Paul rushes him to the hospital and there, Lucy tends to him. Later, Dallas confirms Dusty's suspicions about the brake lines and Lucy surmises it was probably her father. But Craig quickly assures everyone he was with Meg the whole time and Meg suddenly finds herself on the spot. |

After Katie blames Simon for breaking up her marriage, Simon urges Katie to find Mike and make amends. Katie comes home and finds Mike preparing to leave and pleads with him to stay. But, unable to forgive her, Mike takes off his wedding ring and leaves. When an upset Carly tells Jack she picked the wrong guy, Jack refuses to listen to Carly's problems about another man. When Simon shows up, Jack leaves on a police call and allows Simon to stay. Simon makes a heartfelt argument that being with Katie only made him want Carly more. Carly realizes that maybe being with Katie gave Simon the closure they needed, as Jack returns and overhears Carly forgive Simon. Susan meets Emily and relays the information about Dusty's accident. When Emily hears Dusty's brake line was cut, it all but confirms her suspicions that Craig was involved, thus making her an accessory. Meanwhile, at the hospital, Craig revels in the tension he's raised between Meg and Paul, as Meg is forced to admit she was with Craig at the time of the accident. Emily then arrives and blasts Craig for his actions, but when Craig makes accusations about Emily, it's Paul who defends her and Emily is touched. Later, Paul and Meg continue to fight about the rift Craig has been causing between them. When Dallas reveals that there is no evidence to pin on Craig, Dusty assures Lucy her testimony is the only way to make sure Craig can't hurt them again. Henry locks Mike inside Mike and Katie's house so that they will have a chance to save their marriage. Iris surprises Gwen and Will with her release from prison. Gwen tells her she doesn't want her around, but when Iris pulls at her heartstrings, Gwen stops her from leaving. Will lets Iris know Gwen is going to be a star despite her, before showing her the door. Iris leaves and seems very pleased with the idea of Gwen making it big. While shopping, Carly and Simon come across a cutout of Katie at the bookstore and are concerned about the contents of Katie's new edition of Oakdale Confidential. Later, Mike comes upon the same cutout and is deeply affected. Mike tells Simon and Carly that he's over Katie, but Simon hopes Mike and Katie can find their way back together. Katie finishes her additions to the book in time to get them to print. Lucinda reads the pages, and is impressed but questions whether she's sure she wants this printed. Feeling rejected, Katie admits she is prepared for any fallout from the book. Later, when Henry warns she'll only end up hurting herself and Mike, Katie tries to intercept Lucinda but realizes she is too late. Emily and Barbara are shocked at the outcome of Craig's trial, but Meg is not surprised. Meanwhile, when Craig sees further proof she and Paul are having problems, he advises Meg to set her wedding date as soon as possible and not let anything get between her and Paul. Lucy tries to talk Dusty out of keeping a gun in the house. He vows to protect Johnny but won't divulge his specific plan. It's Thanksgiving and Holden cites his gratitude for Lily's return. Jade flashes to seeing Holden with Tea, and wonders why Holden didn't buy Faith a new horse when he was in Springfield yesterday. Meg says Holden wasn't in Springfield and Lily is twigged. Later, Jade confronts Holden about lying for him again, but he insists to Jade that the woman he met with was a business associate. Lily tells Jade she knows there's something between her and Holden and wants to know what it is. Tensions mount as Meg and Emma spar about her dealings with Craig and Paul. But Emma ultimately gives her blessing on her wedding with Paul. Meg realizes the barn repairs won't be finished in time, and asks to have the wedding at Holden's house. Meanwhile, Lucy and Jack tell the family they're not coming to dinner as Luke and Emma try to console them, respectively. Iris is surprised to hear that Gwen and Will are having Thanksgiving with Barbara after all the grief she gave them. Iris tries to guilt an invitation, but Gwen hurries off. Later, Will warns that Gwen doesn't want Iris back in her life. But Iris' parole won't allow her to leave Oakdale. Dusty, with gun in hand, vows to keep Craig out of Johnny's life. Meanwhile, Lucy warns Craig if he doesn't back off this custody suit, Dusty will kill him. Dusty calls Craig and orders him to meet him in the garage - alone. Dusty gives Johnny a hug that will have to last, and says with any luck, they'll all have something to be grateful for soon. Paul tells Barbara he wants Craig out of their lives for good, and Barbara hints that maybe someone's already found a way. Panicked Emily then arrives to warn Barbara and Paul that Dusty is out there with a gun. Later, Paul overhears Emily on the phone with Craig, and is shocked to see the two in cahoots. Paul follows Emily to Dusty's car where Craig has instructed her to replace the bullets in Dusty's gun with blanks. Paul emerges from the shadows and reloads the gun with the live ammo. |

Carly learns that Vienna knows about the jewel heist. Simon begs Carly to keep quiet about the jewel heist to Jessica and Jack, seeing as he has a plan. Simon and Carly meet with the jeweler to have her make a replica of the infamous necklace. But when the jeweler can't help them, Carly and Simon decide to throw the diamond off the cliff into the water. Adam asks Casey's help in getting Gwen back on board with their CD demo. A student appears at the door, looking for money Casey owes. Adam questions if there's a problem. Meanwhile, Will learns that Gwen saw Jade and Adam making love at the studio. Will asks Gwen why she didn't tell him, as Jade claims she's moved on to Luke, but he questions Jade if she really is over Will. Barbara gives Meg the necklace Jennifer wore on her wedding day and welcomes Meg to the family. Meg asks Lily to be her maid of honor. Emily tells Paul she knows he's marrying Meg and warns him it's a mistake.
