Far out into the corn fields lies the Triple R Ranch.

Is their anything more entertaining than Spin and Marty? David Stollery (as Marty) has a charm that can only be emoted by cornball actors with cornball dialogue. Spin and Marty takes place in a vacuum. There's nothing remotely realistic about it and it's nostalgic even if it's the first time you're seeing it. Sort of like The Adventures of Robin Hood without any of the talent or skill. You can enjoy it the same way you can enjoy an earnest but cheaply done monster movie. ***1/2 out of ****
